Tech21 E.S. provides an independent survey checking service when surveys appear inconsistent with each other or with the geology encountered.  We are often asked to examine positioning problems such as dry wells, near misses or collisions and poorer than expected production. 

We have a team of experts in borehole positioning, navigation and surveying who can examine the history and behaviour of the data and highlight any pitfalls or offer explanations for the discrepancies observed. 

Tech21 E.S. also conducts planning work on our PC OILPLAN and 5D software to help minimise the cost, time and risk in the ongoing development of mature fields with complex collision issues.

We have been responsible for the production of several Best Practice Manuals for Borehole Surveying. We also perform technical audits of current practices.
